1. Overview - Grande Prairie and District Grief Support Association is a nonprofit organization. Program fees and donations directly support our programs and services for children and families. We aim to be fair and transparent while ensuring sustainability of our programs.

​2. Donations - All donations made to Grande Prairie and District Grief Support Association or to Camp Heal- A- Heart are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error ( e.g. Duplicate transaction or incorrect amount) please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis.

3. Program Registration Fees - Cancellation by Participant - Cancellations made 7-14days before the program start date may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the program are generally non- refundable but will review on a case by case basis.

b) No-Shows - No refunds will be issued for participants who do not attend a scheduled program without prior notice, unless due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, safety concerns, weather, or emergencies. We will review on a case-by-case basis and see if we can reschedule.

4. Cancellation by Camp Heal- A-Heart or Follow-up Group: If we cancel a program due to unforeseen circumstances ( Low enrollment, safety concerns, weather, or emergencies) participants will be offered: A Full refund ( Unless the program is free which the follow-up group is) We will reschedule with a different time and you will be given the option to transfer to a future program schedule.

5. Exceptional Circumstances - We understand that unexpected situations arise. Refund requests due to: Medical Emergencies, Family Emergencies will be considered on a case-by case basis at our discretion.

6. Transfers - Where possible, registrations may be transferred: To another participant, To a future program date. Requests must be made in advance and approved by Staff. 

7.Processing Refunds - Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment where possible. Please allow 5-10 business days for processing.
