Camp Heal-A-Heart​

Our signature program that provides a safe space for children and youth Ages 5yrs- 15yrs old who are experiencing grief and loss through death, divorce, separation or fostering.

Camp Heal-A-Heart is more than a camp, it is a place where children discover they are not alone in their grief journey. It is where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and healing begins. Through therapeutic and recreational components and meaningful connections with peers who understand their experience. Children are able to process their emotions in healthy ways while rebuilding confidence, resilience, and joy.  

Programs

Circle Of Life

Supporting students where they learn, Circle of Life brings professional grief support directly to schools, creating safe spaces for students to process grief and loss and build resilience, through our 3 week program, we work with students in a group setting to discuss 6 themes which are Introduction & Trust, Change and Loss, Feelings, stress and worries, Coping, and memories. This is a Free program for Grande prairie schools and is no cost for families. Minimal classroom disruption with flexible scheduling that works with existing school timetables. Follow-up Program

After camp ends, ongoing support is essential to help children continue processing their grief in healthy ways. This program reconnects participants with supportive mentors and peers through group activities. By maintaining these connections, we help nurture resilience and reinforce that they are not alone in their grief journey. We meet monthly (soon to be Bi-Monthly) and details will be in our newsletter. It is a Free Program for children and youth 5-15yrs old if you want more info please email us.
