Camp Heal a Heart ( "we,"our", or"us") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our participants, families, donors, volunteers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws in Alberta, Canada. Including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)

2. Information We collect - We may collect the following types of personal information: 

a) Personal Information, Name, Email address, phone number, mailing address, parent/guardian contact information

b) Participant Information (Children), Name and age of child(s), Emergency contacts, Medical information (allergies, medical conditions) provided voluntarily, Emotional or behavioral support information

c) Payment Information - Donations or registration payments are processed securely through third-party providers, We do not store full credit card information. 

d) Website Data - IP address, browser type, pages visited, General analytics data (cookies or similar technologies)

3. How we use your Information - We use your information to: Register and manage camp programs, communicate with participants, families, volunteers, and donors. Ensure participant safety and provide appropriate care. Process donations and issue receipts. Improve our website and services.

4. Consent - By providing your personal information, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure as described in this policy. For children, consent must be provided by parent or legal guardian. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us.

5. How we protect your Information - We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing of Information - We do not sell or rent your personal information. we may share information only when necessary with: Trusted services providers (Payment processors, email platforms) Emergency responders or medical professionals if required. Legal authorities when required by law. All third parties are expected to safeguard your information.
